I am building a rack system for my guitar gear and need a shelf to hold some odd gear. I plan to mount the rack to both the front and rear rails for extra stability I need to know the distance of the rails (front to back) to ensure I purchase a rack that is deep enough and that the front and rear rack rails will be able to attach to both sets of rails.
